Vladimir is from Vitebsk, Belarus, where he graduated with a degree in communication design. He worked as an art director in Moscow for two years before taking up an artist residency at Fabrica – Benetton’s Research and Communication Centre. He spent two years working in the Interactive Department, collaborating with young international artists for United Colors of Benetton online art projects. At Fabrica, he also created a series of illustrations, entitled “Clips & Heels” which began his career as an exposing graphic artist.
After Italy, Vladimir went to Moscow, where he worked with local fashion brands, and with galleries. He then moved to Hong Kong and worked as an art director and illustrator for magazines and fashion companies including a stint as graphic artist for Lane Crawford. He is currently based in Shanghai and works extensively on online projects. He continues to collaborate with fashion houses while creating his own personal works of art.
His art has been exhibited in Moscow, Stockholm, San Francisco, Shanghai and Le Centre Pompidou in Paris, and some of which were published in a number of review books on graphic design and illustration, including the most recent edition of Taschen’s Contemporary Graphic Design.
